Ohio HealthCare Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial institution serving a variety of healthcare organizations' employees and employee family members throughout Ohio. OHCFCU has been in existence since 1973. Employees who work regularly in the heathcare industry in the state of Ohio, as well as their family members, are eligible to join the credit union.

Simply open a savings account and maintain a $5 balance to be eligible for the many benefits of credit union membership. Once you become a member, your immediate family members are eligible to join. And, you may remain a member for life...even through a professional change or retirement!

Joining Ohio HealthCare FCU

As a credit union, we aren't open to the public. Membership is limited to those who have a common bond. The field of membership for Ohio HealthCare FCU is limited to the following:

1. Employees, independent contractors, or self-employed persons who work regularly in the Health Care Industry in Ohio that include the following:
• Assisted living facilities that provide health care services;
• Birthing centers;
• Blood, organ and tissue banks;
• Emergency medical care;
• Health clinics;
• Health maintenance organizations (HMO) medical facilities;
• Home health care;
• Hospices;
• Hospitals;
• Medical and diagnostic labs;
• Medical transcription services;
• Nursing homes;
• Nursing services;
• Offices of chiropractors, dentists, licensed therapists, optometrists, physicians podiatrists, and psychologists;
• Pain centers;
• Paramedic services;
• Pharmacy services; and
• Rehabilitation centers providing medical treatment or licensed psychological or physical therapy.


2. Retirees from the above employment groups, volunteers of the above employment groups, members of the immediate family or household of a current OHCFCU member, spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of OHCFCU and employees of OHCFCU.

Once a Member, Always a Member

Once you've joined Ohio HealthCare FCU, you're in forever! Even if you're no longer affiliated with the employer group, you can remain a member. And, your relatives can join as well.
