Lawn mower accidents are responsible for thousands of emergency room visits each year.
To help you avoid lawn mowing injuries:
. Start the lawn mower outdoors, not in a garage or other enclosed area where carbon monoxide can collect.
. Wear long pants and non-skid, closed-toe leather footwear.
. Shut off the lawn mower and make sure the blade has stopped spinning before crossing gravel paths or roads and before trying to make adjustments.
Stay alert and exercise precaution to help keep lawn mowing safe and accident-free.
Eligible OHCFCU members can receive up to a 10% discount on their auto and homeowners insurance. To find out what Sentry can do for you, call Matt Dowds at 614-451-2321 for a free quote and to set up an appointment.
