Overdraft Coverage

It's important to have options in the event you accidentally overdraw your checking account or for those unplanned emergencies. OHCFCU offers you a variety of tools to protect you in these circumstances.

Overdraft Protection

Overdraft Protection uses funds from your existing OHCFCU savings account to help you avoid being overdrawn. Transfers will automatically be made from your designated savings account to your checking account to cover transactions. Transfers are subject to Regulation D transfer limits. Contact a member service representative at 614-737-6030 to set up Overdraft Protection on your account.

Overdraft Line of Credit

The Overdraft Line of Credit is used as a safety net for your checking account. It is attached to your checking account and only tapped into when you need it. That way there are no NSF fees, no merchant hassles...you can sleep soundly knowing your checks are covered!

When needed, the line of credit will automatically transfer the exact amount needed to clear a check or an automatic withdrawal.  Or you can manually transfer money from the overdraft line to cover debit card purchases. The Overdraft Line of Credit has a fixed rate and a low minimum monthly payment.

It's easy to apply for your Overdraft Line of Credit. Download an application under our "Printable Forms" section to the left or contact our Lending Department at Lending@webcuohio.com or 614-737-6030, option 4.
